Van Cleef was contracted by the City of Bethlehem for the continuation, Phase 3, of the South Bethlehem Greenway project. This phase of the project included design of the trail along the Bethlehem Philadelphia Trail Corridor located between Hayes Street and 6th Street, in the City of Bethlehem, Northampton County, PA.​

As with Phases 1 and 2 of the South Bethlehem Greenway project, Van Cleef was involved in the survey and design of the Greenway trail, pedestrian connections/crossings, stormwater management and project related improvements. Pedestrian and vehicular safe connections to the existing crossroads, cultural access points along the trail, and a connection to the Bethlehem Skate Park were designed and incorporated into the site improvements, along with seating areas, signage, landscaping and lighting. Van Cleef in conjunction with the City’s Planning Consultant and public involvement prepared construction documents, assisted during construction phase, and coordinated design with the City based upon input generated by the PA Department of Recreation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and the Department of Recreation and Parks, in accordance with DCNR grant funding.​
