Van Cleef provides civil engineering and site development services to every size and type of client. It starts with site feasibility evaluations, which enables our clients to make informed financial decisions. The scope of services include institutional planning and site development, permitting, boundary and location surveying and construction stakeout, as well as  an analysis of zoning criteria for the project, conceptual and detailed design, representation before Planning Boards and State agencies, surveying during construction, contract oversight and inspection, and administration.

Our staff of professional engineers and construction inspectors are experienced and trained in the latest technologies and possess local certifications—as well as certifications from the National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technologies (NICET). We recognize the importance of monitoring work progress and quality on a daily basis to ensure that our client’s interests and goals are met and maintained throughout the duration of the project.

Our team of professionals provide expertise in all major areas of land surveying. Armed with the latest technologies—including Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Automated Data Collection Systems and Robotic Total Stations—we share our surveying data with our engineering divisions in real-time, resulting in greater productivity and efficiency.
